/ Ravensdale - access ban

You mean 'complete' as in banning all the crag temporarily, right? Not as in banning all climbing permanently?
Yeah, sorry I should have been more clear. According to the BMC the whole crag has been made off limits during the nesting season as opposed to the individual buttresses actually occupied.
Hope this clears it up.
From BMC : ' [natural england] . . . Have instigated a full crag ban until such time as the chicks have fledged'
Raven's are early nesters (Feb/March) so hopefully by the time the weather has cheered up enough to encourage climbing at Ravensdale the young will have fledged.
I agree a total blanket ban is unnecessary anyhow.
