Hi, Having a gear clear out. I've got these micro wires - got them about 30 years ago and not sure what they are. Think possibly micro rocks? Anyone out there know what they are? There's an RP 4 for scale. Thanks in advance. Mick

In reply to mick taylor: Not sure what they were called but I think they may have been made by 'Faces'.

In reply to mick taylor:

Looks very much like the Micro Rocks I used to have decades ago but almost never used due to the wire being virtually the same width as the nut! I probably still have them somewhere. Pretty sure they weren't Faces - probably Wild Country.

In reply to mick taylor:

They look very similar to a set I bought about 10 years ago in Australia made by a guy in his back yard who was very famous but whose name I forget.

I think their intention is to slow you down as you pass by the pro on the way down.

In reply to MikeTS:

RPs. That was his initials.

Do they a plastic cover on the loop, brown or purple or similar?

In reply to MikeTS:

If they have RP stamped on them, then this is it.

In reply to MikeTS: Thanks everyone. Think Johns right. Quite a useful pair of wires to have on your crab of small wires as it usually resulted iin using your mates set!

Definitely Micro-Rocks. Useless they were, and fairly rapidly consigned to the bottom of the box in my case.

One is a RP, I've a feeling the more rounded ones were called 'Peanuts'?

In reply to adam11:
I remember a rounded micro nut called 'Stones' but not sure who made them. Still have a couple.
