I bought a pair of Five Ten arrowheads a week ago. First couple of times I wore them they fitted ok, but now I'm getting blisters on my heels. Tryed using cotton wool and tape to protect them when wearing the shoes, but still hurts. These are only my second pair of climbing shoes, and my first tight pair. The problem is that the shop won't allow me to return them now that I've climbed in them.
Is devolping blisters normal, when wearing a first pair of tight climbing shoes.

In reply to Jimbob123: If you still have your old shoes try to wear them for part of each climbing session. Then gradually phase out wearing you old shoes. i.e.

Week 1: Wear old shoes for 80% of each session
Week 2: Wear old shoes for 60% of each session
Week 3: Wear old shoes for 40% of each session
Week 4: wear old shoes for 20% of each session
Week 5: Stop wearing old shoes
