BMC Annual Gathering Weekend, Plas y Brenin, 26-27 April – last call
* Friday night bar & slideshows (start, 9.00pm) by George Cave (is Google Earth ruining expeditions?) and one from me on Cerro Torre / Patagonia.
*Bouldering competition, mountain bike skills courses, climbing and organised walking on the Saturday.
*National Open Forum & AGM (Saturday 4.15pm – 7.00pm).
*7.30pm Free Welsh themed members buffet + LATE BAR.
*Climbing memorabilia auction 9.30pm (includes Mr Fowler's axe from Spantik Sir Chris's crampons from Everest (he'll be their in person as well), plus some great new kit from Joe Brown’s, Cotswold, Wild Country and Rab).
