A few years ago I got a bag from go outdoors for £10. It was basically the same as this... http://welovemountains.com/mammut-element-rope-bag-black-one-size

I'm looking for another to home my new rope (and I don't want to use an Ikea bag) but they all seem a waste of money!

So, can cheap bags still be found or has everything become branded and expensive? I'm having no luck...

In reply to James Malloch: Try ebay, I got a DMM one for a tenner a couple of years back.

In reply to talon_guy: £22.50 is still pretty expensive for something so simple. Will keep checking ebay but there's nothing cheap that I've seen on there today.

Was hoping someone would just post a link to something for a tenner

I'll probably just end up using the one bag and just switch ropes each trip, I guess it's just a bit more convenient to have a second...

In reply to James Malloch: I use an old Hessian sack (well, it's nylon but the same sort of thing).

If that's too cheap though you could try Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Crux-Adventure-Ground-Buckles-Straps/dp/B00C09NE52

In reply to Iron Face: Ah, thanks! I'd not thought of decathlon. Will have a look next time I'm near their store!
