Has anyone done a rock route on the Grand Vignemale, looking to do a route in the summer not too worried about the grade just want a solid quality route. Any recommendations of route and up to date guide book. Thanks

The guide 'Passages Pyrénéens' describes routes on the Vignemale. That was published in 1999; there are presumably more recent guides.

The ground covered by the classic north face route looks beautiful from a distance - but I haven't actually been on it myself.
