Anyone herd of whats happening over there at the moment?, has anything on the Eiger/monch/jungfrau been getting climbed?. cheers.

Lots of snow last Friday but it's getting hot during the day so melting quick. I climbed Monch SE ridge on Monday but everything else was hard/impossible to get to. Plenty of people up high doing ski touring.

In reply to StuartCJones: Any ideas of the current condition on Jungfreau? Would you think the ridge would be doable right now? Just wondering.. me and a friend are flying to Milan next Friday and bit lost of where to go for alpine.. seems snowy everywhere

In reply to Ginger McGrath: I have a friend out in Grindlewald at the mo. He was looking to do the Mittellegi ridge but apparently it's a tad snowy with rather high avalanche risks.

In reply to murilolessa: Jungfrau is doable up the normal route if you have skis and a good eye for avalanches. We looked at it, but decided against it because of the approach and sketchy looking snow slope crossing between Rottalhorn and Jungfrau summit. A few ski mountaineers summited Jungfrau last week.
