Wanting to head over there in Oct to see what all the fuss is about.

I don't think I can fly from Spain which is a bugger! Gatwicks flights I can see but what about anywhere else.

Any other things we should know about re accommodation etc?

A month ago we flew with Vueling, Barcelona to Athens, then with Olympic to Kos. I think in the summer season you can fly Alicante>Barca>Kos.

October will probably be rammed!

Also it looks like you can go Alicante>Bergamo>Kos with Ryanair. Not sure when the service ends though.

We are heading over for the Festival so yeh rammed will be good.

Flights via Barca are coming up more expensive than Liverpool and we get to see the grandkids on route.

Anyone flown from Liverpool or is it a new route?

In reply to Sam Mayfield: You could also try from Leeds Bradford; we usually find it the cheapest option.
