/ Saunders Tents
No, they ceased trading a few years ago
My first tent bought in the late 70's was a Robert Saunders, had a single pole in the middle. Incredibly stable when compared to things available today.
I then bought an Ultimate Tramp, as it had the innovative A pole system and I still use it , more than 33 years on !
My first tent was a Saunders Backpacker GC2. One small rear pole and two larger front poles to give you width and headroom at the front.
Me too. I think the previous Mrs Ridge took it :-(
