/ Alpine intro course - Chamonix
Any BMG should do the job. The local french guides don't have a great reputation, they tend just to drag you up routes apparently. I've also seen some of them walking across glaciers un-roped next to clients. However I'm sure there are plenty of good ones.
Rich Cross of Alpine Guides is a nice chap.
Alan Kimber and co also do trips out to the Alps.
James Thacker is really good.
