Just back from Turkey climbing trip to Olympos. Great trip fantastic weather. Climbing a bit stiff if you are a bit of a basic plod like me. Lower grades seem to have been set by a rock spider. Overhangs at start on an F3?? All grades seem to be overstated by at least on level particularly the starts. Once on the climbs the moves were about at the grade stated. The lower offs are interesting most maillon's were glued tight shut with locktite or something so practice your lower off drills if you are a novice. The climbs should be a bit more straight forward at this level. Luckily I have more experience than ability these days ha ha.

All lower off maillons should be glued with loctite! That way they can only be undone with a wrench. Theyre not supposed to be undone and closed by hand as a lower off point for the rope. Someone broke their ankles in Trevor as a result of this method. The maillon worked itself open.
