Peter Steele, Medical Handbook for Walkers and Climbers, Constable, 1999, plastic cover, 270pages, 'as new', £8 posted.
The blurb on the back: "An invaluable book for the active walker of mountaineer in times of emergency. The author provides first-aid information to cover all eventualities, and has designed the text to be as useful to a teacher taking a party of school children across the British moors as to an expedition doctor climbing in the Himalayas."
Although slightly dated it is still a good reference book for anyone planning a major expedition to the Arctic, Antarctic, Greater Ranges or anywhere remote from medical assistance.
