I like the idea of using LEDs in the holds rather than the hold colour or tape to mark out problems, with a good user interface to select or create new problems it could be an interesting style of wall.
I'm not so convinced by the decorative glowing lines. They will only look good if its fairly dark and my guess is the novelty will wear off after about ten minutes and people will be more interested in having enough light to see the holds clearly.
