Went to Kentmere today to get on Bassline venom, couldn't find a beta video for it anywhere so just went for the least line of resistance. I tried from the lowest start from the mono and sloping edge around the corner and found just pulling up impossible. I then found that I could reach the triangular pocket pretty easily from sitting (I'm 6 foot tall) and did the move straight to the lip. So my question is really, does this count as a tick or do I need to man up a bit and pull harder?
In reply to CosmicHobo: It starts LH in the poor pocket, RH in the triangular pocket. Move to lip, match and hold swing, victory mantle. Sounds like you've done it.

Big ol' heel hook/clamping on and around the right is supposedly the "trick" mentioned in the guide.
Being pretty strong would also seem to be a pretty good trick.
