Got some Assos shorts - very good they were too....until I found a hole in them after only a dozen or so rides.
Would you send them back to Assos or the vendor?

Cheers,

E

In reply to Enty: I think you'd need to go through the vendor first, they may get you to send them direct from there but first point of contact should be the vendor

generally vendor first. Although thats for the UK and may not apply elsewhere.
In reply to enty:

Legally your 'contract' is with the retailer but I once sent a faulty Assos jersey straight back to Yellow (The UK distributor). They replaced it quickly with no problems at all.

Take them to your vendor apparently, but sounds like you should get a favourable outcome either way:

In reply to Richard Carter:

Yes - going to send them back to Ribble. just been having an email ding-dong regarding what saddle I use. According to Ribble Assos won't replace damaged shorts when your saddle has any kind of slots or embroidery on them.(which I think is bollocks)But doesn't apply to me anyway because i have old slyle SLR saddles which are a smooth as silk.
