An end to the current run of crappy summers?

From the BBC:

The researchers say that the glimmer of good news is that the AMO might change in five to 10 years, and warmer summers might return. However the winter was more difficult to predict said Prof Belcher.

That's OK then!

I'm not sure that "might change in 5 to 10 years" is much of a prediction really!

I took that to mean that we've got 5 to 10 years of shite summers lined up before warmer summers 'might' return. Not going to put my thermals in storage any time soon!
