Why do many people wear their sunglasses with the 'legs' over the top of their hat, or (when cycling) on the outside of their helmet straps.
Seems to me like it just makes them more likely to fall off - am I missing something? [Obviously it makes you look like a cool dude... but apart from that.]

I read that and noticed the rule about shaving your legs. Outside of the transvestite world I would have thought the idea of a man shaving his legs to be plain wrong!

I know it's in the rules... But why?

Because the pros do it.

The pros do it because it means the sunglasses manufacturer's name (on the glasses arms) is visible without being obscured by helmet straps.
Quite important if Oakley is one of your sponsors!

In reply to bigbobbyking: Cos you can't take them on and off easily innit. After literally minutes of struggling with this I finally gave in and joined the cool dudes.
