In reply to Sally Bustyerface: Thanks Sally, I'll bare that in mind.

I too, am thinking about Kalymnos, leaving from Scotland and would appreciate any tips on getting there: cheap options and/or easy options.

In reply to hymac: We were restricted on holiday dates so if you're flexible you'll prob get cheaper. But we eventualy went for Edinburgh to Kos. Outbound: easyjet, via LGW. Dep Edinburgh 06:20. Arr Kos 20:40.
Return: Ryanair, easyjet, via Stansted. Dep Kos 21:50 Arr Edinburgh 10:20.(overnight @ Stansted) total cost inc 20kg luggage each = £320 pp.
Hope this info is useful.

In reply to hymac:

flythomascook go direct from Glasgow (once a week I think) until early October.

Otherwise its scotland - gatwick - kos, or as said already scotland - athens - kos/kalymnos.

Other options are Ryanair from Leeds or Liverpool direct kos.

I've tried all these.
Yes Manchester too but for me small is beautiful. Big airports are shit.
