I am looking at buying my first rope for predominantly single pitch UK trad and UK winter. I am looking for a dry rope with good abrasion resistance.

I have been given a voucher for Cotswold Outdoors (lucky me!) and the Tendon Smart looks very tempting. While it says it is dry treated, when I went into the store today I realised it actually has the lowest 'level' of dry treatment that Tendon provide

Does anyone have any experience of the Tendon Smart in winter conditions or know of anyone who does?
