Went climbing last night at Worlds End (Clwyd Limestone) and got eaten alive by the midges, I'm so itchy today it's horrible!
Anyway, the club are planning an evening session on Saturday at either Maeshafan or Pot Hole Quarry...could anybody offer any advice as to the typical midgy situation at them?

I seen you at the crag yesterday, I have bites all over my face today... it was one of the worst midge ridden evenings i've ever had in the Eglwyseg!

Dinbren is usually OK. But I have been attacked there too... Not sure about Pot Hole and Maes.

In reply to Cookie (North East Wales MC): Glad we weren't the only ones to get eaten, just counted up and got over 70 bites! Itchy!!!

So, anyone else got any idea about midges at Maeshafan/Pot Hole?
