This is the End (seen) or World's End (not seen, but good pedigree and bonus points for being in the UKC database)?

Saw Springsteen and I last night....great feel-ggod stuff...but you really need to be a fan!

Saw The World's End on Saturday night. Not bad, but not as good as Hot Fuzz or Shaun of the Dead. Worth a viewing though if you're stuck for choice.

"The East" looks interesting (American independent thing with Brit Marling and Ellen Page in it)

I tried to get Little Miss Lemming to watch the first instalment but she said it was childish.

I will try again later, probably when she is tipsy.

Well it is a kids film!!!!

In reply to Euge:

We're both young at heart, well mostly me, and if the story/plot is good then we don't care if the film is pitched at children.

Sadly Miss Lemming was feeling too warm to want to move. I did try to point out that the cinema had air con.

Is that a porno?
 Skyfall 24 Jul 2013
In reply to The Lemming:

Pacific Rim is Robot/Godzilla porn of fairly high order. Brainless in places but the opening scenes are pretty exciting if you have an ounce of child left in you. I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5.

Not wanting to cause an argument here. But I will anyway. I cannot see the appeal of Simon Pegg, at all. Hot fuzz and Shaun of the Dead we void of any thing resembling a joke. I can't see how the fella is still in the business.

If you are the sort of person who was listening when you were at school the nearest place you'll find a decent film these days is probably 2 Rue Jean Jaurès 62100 Calais.

The script and acting were just as bad as a porno and it was just as cliched.
But the Action scenes were great!!!

Because not everyone is the same and people have different tastes to you. I think Shaun of the Dead particularly is very funny and quite clever. What do you find funny?

In reply to The New NickB:

Shaun of the Dead is good however I think his best films are Hot Fuzz and Paul.
