Does anyone know of a charity shop that might be interested in receiving all the old climbing magazines that I've collected over the years? I have an Oxfam books locally but they aren't interested. I know they aren't the most saleable items but I'd be a bit sorry to see them go to recycling after all these years, the thought that there might be some value in them for a good cause would sweeten that pill considerably.
I've sometimes seen back issues sold in outdoor shops to raise money for MRTs and I'd be happy to do that too. Any ideas?

Give them to a local mountaineering club? Make good reading in a club hut.

In reply to Milesy: Thanks for your suggestion. I had considered that one too, thinking about the GUMC hut at Clashgour but in truth I think there are too many for that wee place.
