Looking for a cheap and cheerful bed in Kandersteg for a couple of nights in August to decompress in after a six day trek. Happy with dortoir etc.

When I stayed there, I emailed tourist info. They in turn emailed all the accommodation providers Who then sent me their vacancies. I took the best deal.

20-30€ including breakfast is extremely cheap for swiss standarts... rooms are ok & there's a kitchen if you want to cook your own dinner ect. A bit of a walk from "downtown" Kandersteg (2km), though there might be a bus service.
