Eiger descent

When descending by the south ridge, is it abseiled down to the Eigergletcher Station or is it the long walk down?

The South Ridge takes you to the Monchsjoch, then the train at Jungfraujoch. The West Flank takes you down to Eigergletscher.

In reply to Mickdenali: it descends to Monchjoch hut as already answered here, then it's another half an hour to the train station.
