I am planning a day out in the Peak tomorrow, probably Burbage North, how wet is it at the moment, it has been raining heavily here, more than I was expecting from the BBC weather.

In reply to kipper12: it's raining lightly, but burbage north will only take an hour to dry. Burbage north and west tend to take a little longer.

In reply to kipper12: head a bit further to cratcliff, its been lovely here for a while now and a light cooling breeze to keep the conditions very reasonable for the time of year

Had some heavy showers in Hope Valley this morning.

13.04: Currently drizzling. Top of Mam Tor just visible.

In reply to kipper12: According to the Met Office there will be more rain this afternoon but it will brighten up later. None of which is any guide to what might happen tomorrow, although the forecast is looking OK.
