Hi,

Off to the Bavarian Alps next week, been on my bucket list for a while.

If anyone has previously been there, I would be grateful for recommendations on accommodation in Garmish-Partenkirchen.

Don't know if its the sort of thing you are after but they have chalets for rent at Camping Isarhorn round near Mittenwald - about 15 mins drive from Garmisch - and very handy for the Lidl in Krun

P.S. I thoroughly recommend the pizza/ice cream parlour in Mittenwald market square........
