Very specific question re photoshop app for ipad.

I am about to get my house repainted (bear with me) and we cannot decide on a colour. Someone suggested taking a picture of it and changing the colours in photoshop to get an idea.

There is a photoshop "lite" app available for about £7 in the app store...would this do it or would I need the full monty app?

Thx

Just use some paper and crayons, much cheaper.

You could probable get a cheaper app for that (check out Pro Create stuff)
Didn't know PS were doing an app though is it for sale or "rent" like their new Creative Suite stuff?

this is useful app for colour themes which works with your iPad camera although not answering your direct query it might be useful for colours that you like and see around. These themes can then be used in Adobe Illustrator but obviously thats a more specialised software on your PC.

If I find a way of transporting them into another app I'll let you know.

Dulux used to do a thing on their website where you could upload a photo and then recolour your own walls with their palette. Worked quite well iirc though you had to be aware of slight changes due to monitor calibration. Still it let you know the colour you picked was never going to work with that couch.....
In reply to Removed User: Perfect!...they do and they have exterior pictures pre loaded which will prob be good enough

Thx for all the replies
