In reply to cdb7452: Depends what you mean by "advanced" I guess. Perhaps they have reduced the syllabus to ensure that basic interventions are taught and practiced well? I know you are asking for specific recommendations but I would consider getting into a dialogue with organisations which offer 'Expedition First Aid' and allow them to do a needs based assessment.
The medical training and equipment needs for one expedition will be very different to another. For what it's worth a quick scan of the WMT FFH syllabus and it looks pretty logical to me. I should add I have no experience of WMT at all. Might also be worth looking at Expedition Medicine
