Had a walk down to Beeston this evening. The Rockfax approach notes were followed up to a point : There's a new looking fence all around the crag with no obvious access. No stiles, but no 'no access' signs either. Has there been a change of access ?

If it's as it was a couple of months back, the fence has changed from when I was last there (a couple of years back) but there doesn't seem to be any access problem. Keep right closer to the river and then cut up to the crag. There are a couple of access points.

Ditto, I almost made that mistake when I last visited. You need to stay by the river until closer to below the crag.
