Hello,

Am in Pembroke for a week and aim to get a couple of runs in if especially if the weather craps out 1 or 2 days!

I don't know the area so any suggestions welcome. Also - is it flat-ish like parts of Dorset near to cliffs or hilly like Cornwall? Road running preferred but happy with obvious trails i.e. firetrack or similar but not proper xc - training for a road half in Oct.

Have done a fair bit of hilly running of late

Cheers

In reply to Wilbur: What sort of running do you want to do? If you want hilly road running, then run towards the climbing area. If you want off road running the choices are very limited - maybe your best bet would be to start down the short bridleway which starts opposite the front door of the CC hut, then head towards the Pembrokeshire coast path. It's a bit complex to describe - you'd really need to buy an OS map.

In reply to Wilbur:

Ive run on pretty much all of the coast around there and its all great! For training for flat road running the coast between broad haven beach and range west is probably best. You obviously need to drive to Bosherston first though. The hilliest part of thecoast is probably between barafundle and range east so avoid that if you dont want hills.
