Stupid question. I would like to stay in the Watzmannhaus in about November. The website http://www.davplus.de/watzmannhaus says it's shut but mentions "offener Winterraum (12–15 Lager)". Does this mean there's an unlocked door and a few beds in a cold room? Anything more? Is there likely to be snow on the Watzmann by that time?

In reply to KlaasW: there's a reasonable possibility of snow at the Level of watzmanhaus and a high possibility on the mountain. vondering the room, it's probably best to enwuire about conditions through a phone call at the numbers mentioned.
