Going to mMllorca next week but struggling with car hire - it seems you need a credit card to hire a car there, which I don't have.

Anyone know how difficult it would be to hitch to the crags in the mountains/use public transport or any other ideas of how to get around the island?

In reply to Louise Hall: I would say you need a car. I was there earlier in the year and without the car it would have been difficult. Saying that there is public transport but some of the crags were a bit off the main road routes.
Hope you manage to get something sorted. We organised our car hire from this end, I don't recall a credit card issue.

Thanks guys - Terry's looks like a decent hire place. Have you used them before?

In reply to Louise Hall: Yes used him a couple of times for school trips, he's an English guy and found them to be very helpful and easy to communicate with over the phone, unlike many of the bigger companies.
