Only on the far side of the river though (where the main bouldering area is). If the boat isn't running you are stuck in the main town waiting to get over. No problem though as its an amazing place for sightseeing, but there are sooo many boulders you really are itching to climb on them. Nothing wrong with using your rucksack as a mat right?
