Does anyone know of any software/webpages that also you to do a simple analysis of a GPX file

Specifically I want to smooth out the data from a run to show my pace over a reasonable interval (e.g. one or 2 minutes, or for each quarter mile)

I've loaded the data into Garmin Connect, but the graphs are too spiky to give a real indication of pace.

It's not helped by the fact that I'm running in trees with a small, annoying, dog. Where I can let the dog off the lead I can run at a smooth pace, but on the lead means it's interval training - sprinting when he decides to chase something, stopping when he decides to have a drink, or a wee, and occasionally hurdling him !

Have a look at http://www.gpsbabel.org/ which has all sorts of filtering options.
