Iceland.Anyone been lately (The country, not the food outlet) ?

I am going in a few days and need advice really about money.
Should I take cash or best to just use my visa card (in cafes/resteraunts for instance etc).
Ive never really used my visa card abroad so is it cheaper to use it and not cash ??
(Im guessing as im only there for 5 days,it may not make too much difference !!!!)

In reply to Newbuild100: You can use a card for pretty much any transaction in iceland, including takeaways etc. Having said that change money in Iceland if you want cash. It can be tricky to get hold of in the UK and the exchange rate will be better over there
