Recent changes have been made to the Met Office Mountain Area Forecast, to make the online service more user friendly. There are some small but worthwhile improvements.

In reply to Robert Durran: yes it is... It's clunky, simplistic graphics and difficult to extract meaningful weather forecasts....

Its also very slow to download in poor internet areas... ermmm like the mountain areas!

I'll still stick to MWIS and XC Weather

In reply to Robert Durran: The old website (that worked and didn't take ages to load) is still available. Really don't get along with the new site, so I'm sticking to MWIS too.

It is pretty poor MWIS wins hands down.

I really down understand the met office's reluctance to offer more detailed, higher resolution data - perhaps the obsession with selling it elsewhere?
