Nathan Lee on the top crux of his new E9 'Unknown Stones' at Wimberry, 3 kb

Nathan Lee has climbed the blank wall at Wimberry between Appointment with Fear and Appointment with Death to give a new route now named Unknown Stones. Nathan has graded the line E9 6c.

The route tackles the steep slab of gritstone via tenuous moves on pebbles, and is very bold.

Definitely, although I think he should have gone for "Appointment with mild peril" as a name for consistency.

A bit of a mouthful. I think I would have gone for something like Appointment with the Devil.

Well obviously but the thought of doing that to keep your feet pinned to the rock for the next move just fills me with terror
