I feel that it is my responsibility to make it known that the boulder problem Dog Eat Dog (7A) at Bowden Doors has been damaged today by a climber. The second right hand hold (a wide pinch with thumb and two/three fingers) has now lost the finger catch, making the move significantly more difficult. I should point out that it was not through any bad practice that the hold was damaged, but simply bad luck that the climber in question was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The climb has been dry for the last two days, in relatively warm and windy conditions, and the climber was on the problem at around midday, so any morning condensation had long since passed.
Sadly though, I think Dog Eat Dog may now be a 7A+
