we are a french couple travelling in Scotland during the 2 last weeks of October, looking for great experiences of climbing in a wild places.
I have got all the equipment for rockclimbing except "friends", and I heard that most of the routes in Scotland have no bolts, which is actually a good thing. I sometimes climb in mountains without any bolts (And I prefer that!) but this is more alpinism than rock climbing (very easy routes). It would be great to meet local people to get some informations about the good cliffs and mountains, and why not enjoying together few days on sites.
I m particularly interested in the Skie Island, but I'm waiting for your advices about where to go. I'm open to any suggestions.
