Gleann Goibhre (Muir of Ord) - is is bikable?

Has anyone ever biked down the footpath from the bothy to Achederson? The top part of the path looks ok to bike but I was too scared to give it a shot in case it turned into a bogfest

I was thinking of riding up the nice tarmac road to the dam and DOWN the track... very commendable!

Yes its a great ride down. It is a bit boggy in places though and I think best kept for the summer months!
In reply to KennyWright: well I rode down the Tarmac road, yeah probably not the best way!! I do remember it was a little boggy in places but I'm guessing if your thinking of riding this them you will be a capable rider, I did it in winter and I remember thinking the squishy hydro access road at the top was the worst bit!!

I don't mind a bit of bog action. Its good to know it has been ridden rather than it being a long miserable push. I was thinking about doing it one evening after work in the dark...
