/ FS: guidebook clear out
Been doing a bit of a clear out of my guidebook and other climbing-related book collection. Mainly slightly older guides but could be useful for occasional visitors, and to be honest most of the routes for us mortals wont have changed that much! Open to sensible offers on combinations of stuff...
P&p on top of the prices below - as far as I can make out from the Royal Mail that should be about £1.50-£2.50 depending mainly on how fat the book is, or if you want several I will work it out.
The guides mostly have name and address in the front and have been used altough not massively heavily. Anything specific Ive noted individually. So:
Swanage & Portland 1995 - £7
Yorkshire Limestone 1992 (Dunne on Breach of the peace on the cover) - £5
Yorkshire Gritstone 1998 (Widdop Wall cover) - £7
Rock climbs in the Verdon (Rick Newcombe, 1988) - £2
Scottish Winter Climbs (the small size one with Shield Direct on the cover) - £7
Rock climbing guide to Antalya (2007, the green spine one) - £4
Northumberland 1989 - £6
Rock climbing in Snowdonia (Paul Williams 2002 reprint. This has one page, the centre of the cromlech, loose but still there) - £5
Climbing in the Moroccan anti-atlas (Claude Davies, the original guide to the area) - £5
Staffordshire gritstone (1989, Gary Gibson as compiler) - £6
Slate 1992 - £5
Peak Limestone South 1987 - £3
Cheddar (just the cheddar volume) 1992 - £4
Pembroke 1996 plus the supplement - £15
The Fall, Simon Mawer (Boardman Tasker prize winning fiction) - £4
Training for climbing, Eric Horst (first edition, fifth printing, if that matters?) - £8
SportClimbing+, Rockfax (the version with Naomi Buys on the cover) - £10
Or take the lot for £85...

Did money for S&P Arrive today?
Our post hasn't come today yet - I will let you know. Ought to be here soon I think.
Bizarrely it still works out cheaper to send the two parcels separately. I figure since you sent me a bit too much for p&s that pretty much bang on covers the cost of sending you pembroke 2nd class, so it would just be £10 for that guide posted - that sound fair?
will get it off to you Later.
will include postage again. Either treat yourself to a pint, or give to a charity. No worries.
Just dropped through the door. Cheers!
Post Other today or first thing Monday.
As per the description, it's the small format one with shield direct on it, not the newer tall-format one with the wand or whatever it is on the cover.
15 Posted for Pembroke and supplement.
Probably wont arrive til Tuesday now mind.
with excess, either have a pint on me, or give it to a tramp, or charity.
Cheers! Ill get the stuff into the mail as soon as possible - p&s I missed today's post but it'll go in first thing on Monday.
Right, so, after my Monday post office run I've got the following left if anyone wants them:
Scottish Winter Climbs (the small size one with Shield Direct on the cover)
Staffordshire gritstone (1989, Gary Gibson as compiler)
Peak Limestone South 1987
The Fall, Simon Mawer (Boardman Tasker prize winning fiction)
Basically, if anyone wants to make me an offer for any of it them I am interested in listening...
Its not been used very much, a few times, its got an address in the front but I've just flicked through and can't see any ticks inside (I think although I'm not sure I bought it in one of the clear outs with bolt fund donations that somewhere did when the big re equipping push was going on, and I don't tick guides myself generally).
