Determined not to let dire weather scupper a rare free Saturday, any suggestion as to where I can best avoid the damp/seepage would be much appreciated!

Looking at your profile: if it stops raining then, the tors dry quickly; chudleigh will be pleasant in the sun; the dewerstone will be dank but lots of easy routes. Baggy should be fine (if sea calm), but use a rope for the descent as it can be slippy.
In reply to jacobjohncharles: the bouldering under chudliegh overhang and saturn five very rarely gets wet. i've spent many a happy hour doing eliminates and getting pumped with pouring rain a couple of meters away.
Might be a long shot, but has anyone been in/around Ansteys/Torbryan/Cheddar recently who would know the extent of the seepage? Willing to put some sport on the table!
In reply to jacobjohncharles: A long way from Devon at the moment, but if it's not raining, then
Parson's Hole is quick drying and Daddyhole is worth a look if weather clears on the Friday and stays dry overnight.
Torbryan can hold up quite well if the weather hasn't been too kind, Anstey's depends on what you want to climb a bit, really - Empire wall stays wet - really wet, so do parts of Ferocity, lower down there's usually something to climb if it's had a few hours to dry, but it'll depend on what you're wanting to try really.
