Friend is meeting me from Wakefield (me from north wales) was thinking Rope Race or Awesome Walles Stockport.
What do you suggest in that area?
Been to MCC, which is also an option.

Or ROKT in Brighouse?
Just want to know what peoples opinions of them are really, thanks.

From those three, Stockport has the most to offer, I think. It is large, very tall, varied. Rope race is quite old and rather small, Rokt is a bit of an acquired taste though if you want bouldering it is probably the best.

I'd definitely recommend awesome walls in Stockport. A really great wall.

In reply to owena: I've only been to Awesome Walls in Stockport (in that area) but was very impressed. Gets my vote :-)

Overall I've been to 7 or 8 indoor walls around the country and AW at Stockport is by far the best.

In reply to owena: Well we went to AW stockport and indeed we enjoyed it very much. good variety of walls. I really liked the natural rock type climbs, I didnt like the 'big wall' at the back as it was completely flat and featureless. The RopeRace high wall is much more interesting.
Ill definately be going there again
