Hi UKC,

I'm moving to Chamonix in a couple of weeks (for a year+) and am trying to work out the cheapest/best way to get insurance to cover Alpine climbing and offpiste/touring as well as include the normal health insurance.

Normally when going away I'd just get BMC insurance but they are limited in length and expensive, so I guess just not designed for what I need. There are a couple of ski seasonaire companies that include touring and skiing off piste but mention nothing about climbing.

Is there a policy/company anyone could recommend?

Thanks!
(I've looked through for previous threads asking the same question but couldn't see one... sorry if that's not the case).

I used to work seasons in Cham and started off having snow card they would tailor it for the entire season, not sure they will cover a yr plus. Give them a try they might
