Awesome Walls Sheffield- Fully Open

After a year of hard work we eventually fully opened the doors of Awesome Walls Sheffield on Saturday 12th October 2013.

Great thanks must go to all the companies that have helped us get this far and to the massive support we have received from potential customers following our every Facebook and Blog post.

We sincerely hope that everything we have aimed for and told you about has been fulfilled.

Cutting Edge
Awesome Walls Sheffield is the latest in cutting edge climbing wall design. We've tried to factor in climbing for all walks (climbs!) of life. Whether it's your first visit or you're at competition standard we'll have something for you.

First Class
We pride ourselves on delivering a first class service that will shine through from our staff to our facilities. As we’re a new centre we'll be adding onto our existing facilities on a regular basis, why rest when you can run or why crawl when you can climb?

Experience
14 years of climbing wall experience have gone into what we've built in AWCC Sheffield. We hope you enjoy your visit and look forward to seeing you on a regular basis. If you feel we have missed anything or if you have any suggestions then we'd be pleased to hear them in person, phone or email.

National Performance Centre
AWCC Sheffield is the first climbing centre to be awarded 'National Performance Centre' status by our governing body the British Mountaineering Council. In order to meet the BMC's NPC criteria we had to adhere to strict guidelines on the quality and specifications of the wall build. This greatly enhances the user experience for all.

The Future
We still have space indoors and great potential outdoors to enhance the facilities that we have started with. The immediate plans include a dedicated training area on the top floor of the mezzanine and enhancing bouldering area two with pull-up bars and a good selection of finger boards.
2014 will see the outdoor area put to good use.
