A month or so ago Paige Claassen made the 2nd ascent of Simone Pedeferri's Art Attack, an 8c slab at Sasso Remeno in northern Italy.
The route was put up almost a decade earlier and hadn't seen any repeat prior to Paige's.
In reply to UKC News: Great looking route and it looked hard and technical, but not one of the camera angles made it look particularly slabby and some of those holds looked big in comparison to even much easier graded slabs. Would be good to see a photo showing the real angle.
It looks like a slightly off vertical wall climb. Less 'slabby' than something like The Very Big and The Very Small. Still, it's nice to watch something other than extremely overhanging climbing. Good effort on a good looking route.
In reply to UKC News: Agreed, it's a wall not a slab - you should be able to take your hands off on a slab. I think it's an Italian thing, they don't seem to have anything in their guidebook vocabulary for 'wall', walls are 'steep slabs'
