Getting new pc on Monday with Windows 8 installed. When I got Windows XP some years ago I think it came with PaintSop Pro already installed. Anyone know if Windows 8 comes with anything similar?

It will come with Paint, which is not all that bad really.

However, I suggest you use pixlr.com/editor/, it's the closest thing to Photoshop I've found, it's free, and you don't need to install it because it runs in a browser.

Paint.NET is another great (free) alternative. I use it for graphical design and it comes with full support for layers etc. Surprisingly versatile!
