I'm after a sleeping mat for winter wild camping. I'm torn between a synmat for exped and the thermarest x therm. There's about a £50 difference. If you've got either or are they worth it?

In reply to Oliiver: I've got a Synmat that's very comfy, but not particularly light. I suppose whether the extra money is worth the weight difference, whatever it is, is up to you.

I ordered my xtherm from mec.ca, huge saving vs going with local shops (after the many months the local shops took to get it in stock).

MEC will ship thermarest and jetboil products world wide it appears.

No regrets on that purchase

I got the Exped Downmat 7 UL, it's amazing. It's around the same price as the TaR, though slightly heavier, warmer, and less crinkly.
