Off to the cairngorms to do some walking at short notice, and not sure what to do. Recommendations appreciated?

If there's no snow any scrambling's fine. If there's snow we're happy on grade I.

If it was me I'd stick to the glens: e.g. mountain-bike to Fords of Avon from Tomintoul, then take your pick out of (a) straightforward reversal of outward route, (b) out to Cock Bridge then back to 'Toul over the Lecht, (c) down Strath Nethy then aaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllll the way round from the Braes of Abernethy to 'Toul.
