Anyone been up Torridon way recently and able to advise on snow conditions, specifically on Liatach and Beinn Allign.

More or less stripped. There's snow left but it will be rotten and miserable up there at the moment. However, further snow is expected again this week, and v. cold temps giving some stability.

In reply to Firebird: there was a slight dusting on the tops yesterday. The turf wasn't frozen. It is due to get cold today.

On Beinn Eighe ridge today before weather changed in afternoon. Snow to sea level this morning in Torridon. About 6-12 inches of fresh powder on the ridge. Very little old consolidated snow left. Should be a heavy dump higher up tonight. Weather looking good from Thursday after gales blow through tomorrow. Liathach looking very nice.
